E591.A54 Chapter five, titled "Monitor and Merrimack," is an informative retelling of the construction of the Monitor and the Battle of Hampton Roads, although there are a few minor errors. Researchers will find the discussion on strategy especially helpful. The volume has been reprinted by Da Capo Press of New York.
